I looked one over at one the local shops. Seems like a well made pistol and liked the feel of it. I just can't get a good grip on the tiny slide. Ended up selling a really nice CZ 75 for the same reason.

I've been a big fan of the .32-20 for a long time. I bought a Model '92 while I was just out of college and it was eevery penny I had at the time, but that $438 was some of the best money I've ever spent. :D

Nice group and a looks like a nicely made rifle. It's hard to beat the .30-'06, I've knocked off a pile of white tail, a couple of boar and countless varmints with my various '06s. When I had my little farm, grandpa's Springfield was always the "Go to" when something needed to be put down....

I've been looking at the thermal/ digital scopes lately as well. I was thinking of putting one on one of my little Savage .22s, since I live just inside the city limits. I can get away with the subsonic .22s without anyone getting excited. I'd like to put it on something larger to take to our cabin....

I know that in bright sunlight, I can’t see a red dot for snot.
Prefer the green, but the only one I have is a red Sig Romeo. That one sits on the Ruger 5.7 and is pretty much my indoor, bump in the night carbine.
