I bought my son a BSA Supersport a few years back. Right on the end of the box flap it was marked Made in U.K. and across the whole thing it was stamped"FOR EXPORT ONLY" which I assume was because it was over the 12 ft/bls. limit for domestic air rifles.

Welcome to the forum IC. There are quite a few LEO's both past and present here on the forum. You might also consider a lever in .454 and pair that with a .45 Colt handgun. I'm partial to the S&W Mountain gun myself.

Generally speaking a soft point will not expand as fast as a hollow point. For hunting where you generally want in and out holes you want better penetration. For varmints of all kinds a hollow point would be best so that you can dump as much energy into the target as possible. Rusty <><
