How about any scene that involves a Gatling gun in use. It's amazig how it knocks all the bad guys or Indians off there horses but no horse ever goes down. If the 45-70 can't knock a horse down, maybe I shouldn't use it on an elk hunt.

Jkbrea- If you are talking about swapping 1894 parts, I would be willing to swap you the straight-grip lever, lower tang, and stock for the same in pistol-grip. They did make a few PG 1894s, I think mostly in .44 Mag., and maybe .41 (?). If you are talking about the 336 family, though, I'm afraid I...

Trapper/hunter cabins tended to be on the smallish side. Back when the tusk hunters were culling the Yellowstone elk herds, those boys built shelters so small they had to come outside just to change their minds. I've run across remnants of these "cabins" that were no more than 5 X 6 feet,...

I've done it several times. The gun has to be in a locked hard sided container inside your checked luggage and you maintain control of the key. Your suitcase does not have to be locked. The ammo can be in the same container as the gun as long as the gun is not loaded. The rounds cannot be loose. I u...
