Something is not right. It is in the safety notch. Every 92 I have had here for work that was older than WWI and rechambered to 44 mag had headspace issues. The small cal 92's converted to 357m generally were Ok but I do remember one that wasn't.

Something else to consider. Is this a scope made for a 22? If you are using a fixed objective centerfire scope the parallax is usually set for 100 yards. Scopes for 22's are usually set for 50 yards.
