Look around for one of those thousands of $300 used/refinished petite Remington #4 rollers in .32, and rechamber it for .32 H&R.

The low bucks purchase price gives leeway for stock mods, etc.

The looks of gunstocks & girlfriends aside  , I've actually tried that style of "hogsback" stock, and it worked really great for me, in offhand shooting with iron sights on a .375 CZ-550 Magnum.

Sadly, these levergun forums seem to be one of the last bastions of politeness, being populated by some real gentlemen & gentlewomen.

Other forums I frequent certainly have some polite gentlefolk, but most are, more and more, infected with potential trolls.

Check out the relationship/size of his head to the rest of his body/shoulders. B - I - G That skull looks like a trophy bear, IMHO.

It's too bad there's not a separate section for political posts - for those that partake in such.

But, then - I'm one of those who were raised to never discuss religion or politics. (sigh)

I've heard that those aftermarket 5-shot mags for .303 SMLE's don't work very well, and some users have to switch back to the military 10-shot mag as a work-around.

The military mag, does protrude down, changing the bottom line ahead of the trigger guard, though.

I got a barely used 1" Mini, in .22 Mag-only, that a previous owner put stag grips onto it's birdshead gripframe - $125 OTD. I was missing the .22mag-only Black Widow, I gave to an undercover statie I know. He needed a hideout that wouldn't shout "cop", and I had replaced the huge rub...

.30-30 Trapper Spotted

I stopped by one of the local pusher's, today - and saw a pretty nice Winchester M94 top-eject.30-30 Trapper, that already had a side peep installed, in almost perfect cndition except for a very slight freckling, low on both sides of the receiver in the area below the loading port. It was there on c...

Old fanny burp that I am, I only glommed onto my first one a few years ago - after several 9422's & BL-22's - and was really surprised at their accuracy, compared to what I've shot B4. Based on the two, I've shot, they're easily twice as accurate with the issue iron sights as any 9422 or BL-22 I...
