You COULD buy a box of factory Hornady Leverevolution rounds - Those brass are shorter specifically so the longer-ogive bullets they load can be used. You can shoot-up the factory rounds, then keep reloading that brass. THOSE cases would be headstamped differently and thus marked, and are about 1/8&...

I've heard that for the non-mainstream stuff it IS run in 'batches' of a million or whatever, so if that's true, it makes sense. I have been told SPECIFICALLY that such is the case for 35 Remington and .32-20, and .357 Maximum, for example.

How the heck are you gonna adjust point of aim? You've got to have a gun sighted in and a squib load ain't gonna be anywhere near. IMO, pick a load and stick with it in "bad times". How would you guys compensate for your small game loads? The same way I 'compensate' for my small anything ...

How deep a snow do the mountain trains here in the U.S. go through without problems? I'd think that the first train to head down the track with several feet of snow might make for lots of flying white stuff. How would they know a too-deep drift was ahead? (...pics welcome... 8) ).

They are basically a 'mini' M-14 - thus the name, so if you like the wood fixed-stock and the overall configuration of the larger M-1A, you'll like the Ruger.
