GUN SHOW THIS WEEKEND IN FLA.
Hey y'all Rimfire just PMed me to ask about the gunshow at the Lakeland Center this weekend. I need to go. My son has one of those nasty Glocks he thought he wanted but it seems he's seen the light. He's been touched by the spirit of Skeeter Skelton and now wants to trade it for a Superblackhawk. We...

OI, There is a local company based right here in Tampa, near me that has some of the best products I've ever tasted. The company is Vigo. If you ever eat their olive oil with bread you'd never ask for butter again. They are also the county's largest importer of Greek peppers. they sell most of them ...

Humor- Drink warning
Burglary Chicago style When Chicago resident Nathan Radlich's house was burgled recently, thieves ignored his wide screen plasma TV, his VCR, and even left his Rolex watch. What they did take, however, was 'a generic white cardboard box filled with a grayish-white powder.' (That's at least is the wa...

Pete, that's zactly what I was thinking when I saw it. I had a buddy of mine I grew up with that has his grandfather's old .22 bolt action single shot. Somewhere in it's history it suffered a similar accident. The barrel on his was bent so bad that when you looked down the bore you couldn't even see...

A friend of mine had one back in the late 70's. It was a fine example of workmanship and engineering IMHO. It pointed well, natural like a Luger. The only problem was the trigger pull. It was heavy like a military handgun made for shooting in cold weather should be. I'm sure it was exactly what the ...

Scott, IIRC your boy should be about 5 or so now. I might have that wrong, but I would think something like a blue heeler or some other kind of herding dog like that might be a good choice. They'll have a tendency to look after the boy more than just a companion dog. There was a Sunday morning news ...

Don't worry about the Lee Loader being slow. It's really not that slow when you consider the ease of use. 20 minutes before I made that first post earlier this morning I had just ordered a new one for myself in .223 for a Handirifle I'm going to order this afternoon. I wouldn't be without one. check...

Try Track of the Wolf for your parts. They have everything set up so you can order everything you need for a particular rifle pretty easy. When you look at the stuff online you'll see what I mean. One word of caution though. I built a Southern Mountain rifle from parts I got from them about 20 years...

I had a shop teacher that was telling me about the wooden bullets issued by the Kaiser in WWI. The best thing I've found for use while out hunting is a Shannon's Bug Tamer suit. I wasn't aware of such things then but didn't the textile industry do the same thing about 50 years ago or so? They moved their plants from the unionized N.E. to the non union south. It could be a move along those lines. It also could be another form of gun control? Boy that does sound like a conspi...

OT- A good time in church tonight
We had a great time in church tonight. We had a fellow come through that is a home missionary starting a new church. If anyone lives near Rapid City, SD they might want to try looking him up around the first of June. You can see his web site with a 12 minute movie at www.baptiststreetpreacher.com A ...

If your Puma has a bad trigger you could send it off to Nate Kiowa Jones for some work. He has a sticky near the top of the topic board.
