Nice ! :D Brownells sellers a tool called Cratex (sp.?) and a special holder to put in your drill. It's like a pencil eraser with grit already imbedded into it and extra long. The holder lets you adjust how much sticks out. I have one but haven't used it in years. Don't even know exactly it is ??? :?

Re: Tumbling brass
Wet tumbling with SS pins leaves your brass even nicer than new, inside and out. I dry tumble first to protect my dies, resize and then wet tumble. I will take time and prep all my empty brass and store it away ready to load. It makes reloading more fun.

Most of my handguns are stainless,at least 5 to 1 ratio. Four blocks not included, they are what they are. But I only own a couple all SS rifles. I do prefer stainless when available.

The PA 1000 yd club record about 25 years ago was just over 4". And that is some shootin !
The 100 yd record was set back in the 70's and it is 5 shots in .009" center to center shot with a .222 .

Re: round balls
Cast your own round ball. You can melt lead on a cheap hot plate ( less than $20).
I used to know a guy who hunted with a .50 cal. And loaded with two balls and a healthy charge of 2f. They would print
Within a couple inches of each other at 50-75 yards.

There was a time when they were in style. Almost every gun maker used them. Removing then would remove collector value
on some guns. That said, I can take them or leave them but prefer my guns without them.

I have watched the first two episodes. I think they are over complicating it ,drama wise, and making it too hard to believe. I was excited about it when they first advertised it was comming but after the first couple episodes I am not overly happy about it.the photography and scenery is good though....
