This is why I like my 41, best of both ends, little heavier bullet than 357 , velocity increase but not as bad as in recoil as the 44.

If you can't find someone to do the work, go to Trinidad State Junior College ,gunsmith program will most likely have a student there in need of a project. When I was there people were always bringing guns in that needed work or wanted customization. Best part is no labor .

From what I read the oil from the head was pressed 3 different times. 1st press was at 32F- gave the best oil, 2nd was around 50F - more for lamps and such. 3rd was at 90F and was not as high of quality and used in candles . The left over was spermecittie, went to soap & cosmetic production. So ...

I've used both over the years. No preference to either as far as an EDC. Back when Spyderco hit the market I worked in a sportshop and we sold them like hotcakes!
