I have a Lyman 257420 two cav that drops a 70 gr fp gas check bullet. Shoots lights out in my reclined Winchester 92. Either 50/50 Alox/Johnson's one step floor wax or powder coated. Same difference.

For sure, tastes like chicken! I have walked up to one speedgoat dumped first shot that stunk so bad my eyes were watering..told the rancher whose land it was on where to get it.. He didn't want it either.

Most are pretty tasty. Make great Italian sausage.

Blaine, I picked up a two pack of Stealthcam STC PX14 cams at North Forty Outfitters in Oct. on sale for $99 pair. Have hundreds of pix of deer, elk, black bear, coyotes. One night time picture has four coyotes in one frame. Very satisfied.

Since I've been retired, I'm set up for butchering. Bought a one horse grinder from Cabelas bargain cave ( they were changing models). We're enjoying the best venison burger ever by adding about 20% beef burger into the mix. The fact that I now have the TIME to process the animals into freezer meat ...

For the little I got for my old (2001) international 9400I with Detroit 460 hp and auto shift I shoulda kept it and did the same thing. Only had 1.3 million on it. Didn't think far enough ahead. You'll love that bullet in the 25-20! It's my favorite for my relined 1909 Winchester 92. I powder coat them for no lube mess, unlimited shelf life and unparalleled accuracy. My Lyman mould drops two at a time, fast enough for me (I'm retired). Gonna hafta try the 6.5 checks.

I powder coated these RCBS 45-500 BPS for my Shilo Hartford in 45-70. One coat of Harbor Freight red and sized at 459 after PC these are holding 1 MOA out to 300 yds. My grandsons and I hunt grouse with the 410. The boys were out earlier this fall when a small group of turkeys ran across the trail and up on the bank. The older boy let fly and two turkeys rolled down into the road. Good thing they both were carrying tags....

Here's one, pre 1900, bought it at a gun show for $200 a couple years ago. Scarcely any rifleing left. Looks like it laid in a pond for some time. When you're shooting antlerless deer, usually the button buck gets it first, as his size and male stoopidity puts him on the trail ahead of his more timid sister. I'm just enjoying some backstrap chops from one just like in your picture!

Just now getting some data on the 460 with 240 gr XTPMag bullets. Getting hunting sized groups at 100 yds thru the Chrony at 2200 fps. Doesn't seem to like reduced loads, as groups open up and SDs skyrocket, but still working on it. Loaded five last night with 39 gr of 5744 to try when the rain lets...
