Thanks beaker for explaining in a way I could understand. It really is amazing with all of these forces around us, we just go about our lives and shoot old Winchesters. So there's like a perfect balance between the earths gravity and the speed of the moon....that's about all I can get....I'll let y...

Depends on how far you want to drag the hog. I’ll take a true rifle round over a handgun round as it’s likely to anchor the critter quicker with equal shot placement. What he said! The bigger the better, I haven't used anything smaller than a .33WCF on a boar and haven't had to chase any either. Fa...

Well David, you might think of it this way. If we both take 40 rds mine is lighter. I can get 1800 fps for the rifle for better trajectory, you can't get close without really pushing the rifle, Those rounds would likely blow Colt. Paco had that happen. The rifle could handle anything up close that ...

The plates fit on pins that would be a big ugly for pins.
You put the plate on two pins, I drilled 1/4 holes, put in bolts (welded), cut off equal with plat, and hold it one the back with a clamp which pops off when the plate is pushed (shot).
