I was at first thinking of you reloading,if that is somthing you might want to do,but even with that its getting sort of pricey. You know for 500rds you will probably be spending $10--powder $10---primers $80---bullets $120---cases Though the cases can be reused once shot,and you might get used case...

If it was me,I would order a box of 45 colt ammo (100rds) from Cabelas for $40 Then I would but a new Savage MarkII-F (17Mach2 caliber) for around $160-$175 actual cost 10 50rd boxs of ammo 500rds=$40 (2100fps)@cheaper than dirt.com keep the gun you have now and use it once and while with the 100rds...

You know that #1 will toss a 190gr Matchking out the tube at 2900fps She might kick a little, but it should reach way out there and touch somthing if need be. Sorry to bug you again but if all else fails and no matter what, you cannot get the gun to shoot acceptable. and you are sure its not the optics/mounts etc. I would use a box of the new Hornady leverutions. you should not have to dork around with tons of various ammo.
