Re: .379 NOE 235 Gr for .375 win ?
The RD 235 FN is a great bullet. This season in PA I finally killed a whitetail with one of these bullets. The only movement I saw after the shot was the deer sliding down the steep mountainside. After years of carrying this rifle for most days of the season I finally got the shot I wanted and the b...

Hello, I bought one used from your neck of the woods a few years back (Kittery T.P.) and I love it. Although it isn't my first 38-55 it is most impressive with the Williams receiver sight. I didn't get the box or any papers but it was rated at 95% and I intended to shoot it asap. I believe it was mi...

Some of those Winchester commemoratives had production numbers of over 50,000 guns. So with all those collectibles I would definitely shoot one if it were mine. I bought a used, like new, Win. Legendary Frontiersmen in 38-55 that I fired the day it arrived here. I have retired it from shooting silho...

Hello John and great post.
The young man has good form at the bench too. He's no stranger to shooting as we all can see. He's lucky to have run into you also. I wonder if he realizes his good fortune.

Not trying to take away that great shot Ted but I too once killed a mouse with an air pistol. It was at an indoor airgun silhouette match which was fired on the bottom floor of an old barn. We had just had the "FIRE" command and as I loaded my Daisy single shot pistol I noticed a movement ...

Until I really got into leverguns I had many bolt actions. One of the main bolt guns is still with me, a Ruger M77RS from about 1976-77. That rifle has killed more than a few deer but has been a safe queen these last dozen years or so.
