I was given a can of Red Dot powder.
My research indicates it is ROUGHLY equal to Bullseye powder.
I am looking for a "Plate Popper" load in 38 Special /125 cast.
So far 3.0 grains Red Dot for 700 fps ?? is plan A .
Anyone have experience along this line?

I have both and while I tend to favor the 257 I think the 243 got a bad rap early on with bad bullets. All my 257 kills have been one shot, I cannot say that about my 243. Probably another can say the reverse but because of my experience the 243 is my coyote and smaller gun. That said I also think t...

The one here in Billings is quite impressive. The "gun room" has a number of guns to oh and ah over that no one could afford. Example being the cased 400/450 double rifle for $39,900 and a side by side shotgun for the same amount. The actual "Rifleman" rifle was on display as was...

CRS,
For what it is worth I looked it up on the Web.
According to : http://forums.outdoorsdirectory.com/sho ... php?t=2071 (Look at the 14th or so response)
capacities (of water): 405 Win 76.89 grs
45-70 75.51 grs
Might be a starting point anyway.
