Mine was made in 80 and it works fine. Ken Waters makes the same type comment about one he tested in pet loads which is from the same period.

Done both. The first present my wife bought for me was a Model 37 Ithaca 12 Gauge IC choke 32 years ago. It still looks perfect but it broke a firing pin and I had to take it down - wish you the best.

Win 92 25-20

Offered a Win 92 25-20 today. Bore is perfect, metal is good, wood has many dings, works very smoothly much more so than a Rossi. $795 - They made them nice in 1917. What do you all think?

My favored load is the Winchester PP 170 because it is the most accurate but, that may have a challenge. I have found that the 170 Federal is more powerful and almost as accurate. I will have to do more shooting to decide.
