I went to the range this afternoon shooting the 10/22 benchrest thing. I bested my best last month target. I think I'm getting the hang of it. Last month I shot a 218-4X. Fired length.

That's where the problem comes in if there is one. The shell folds down and what doesn't fit in the chamber takes up space in the bore which also causes the bore to be smaller right at the start. It might just be theory but... do ya feel lucky?

There was a fellow at the range last week that was trying some of the Remington factory loads in a Marlin .30-30. At 100 yards they wouldn't stay on the 16"X16" target backer.

As an aside to this topic... I went to my local recycler yesterday to get rid of our accumulation of cans. While there I found out that they pay $5 each for batteries brought in. Take 'em down there and go buy yerself some lead.
