Tells you a whole bunch about the character of some real men. Despite the fact that Terry didn't have much use for idiots and jerks, he was apparently one of the best. The fact that being given that dream gun brought him to tears, and he was not too proud to show it, tells a lot of good about him.

Those huge Cicada killers are pretty mellow. I have never seen an aggressive one. They walk softly and carry a big stinger. I don't mess with them, and they are happy to go about their business. Mud daubers are the same way. They hunt spiders and put them in a mud tube with an egg. As long as you do...

Ballistol wipes are good. I would also take a Bore Snake. Takes up only a small amount of room. A tiny bottle of Break Free CLP would help. 1 ounce should be enough. You probably know what else you want to take. Hope you have fun. By the way, there is a Speed Six that my wife may steal from me. She ...

How well do 17HMR rounds do on skunks?

My dad had a pet skunk as a kid. It never sprayed any of the farm dogs or cats, but they left it alone. It sprayed the little dog of a woman from town who was Grandma,s friend. Nancy Murphy would have whipped my dad if she could have found him.

Remington 700 is cock on opening, I think. For storage of an empty rifle, I pull the trigger and cautiously lower the bolt. Does the Rem 700 firing pin protrude on doing this? I haven't done it on a live round. I am guessing that it probably does protrude under a little spring tension.

Lt Bunny Rabbit Buennemeyer would place his compass on his 1911 for stability. He was always lost. He was also the one who was talked into adding canopy lights to his parachute. We also convinced him to requisition combat grade acetate to overlay his map. Gullible was not a strong enough word for him.
