. I had a set of Briley full-length .410 tubes in/for my 28ga Ruger Red Label, which worked great. IDK about other makers, but know that the Briley sub-gauge tubes are strong enough to withstand firing the designated ammo outside the gun. . That's a very nice lightweight (note the raised wood around the action) sporting rifle with DST's. IMO, the only thing to do is find out if the 8x57 barrel has the early (.318" 8x57J) or the later (.323" 8x57JS/S-bore) bore size. IIRC, commercial 8x57 ammo is all .323" (since 1905) ...

I've never experienced a loose cartridge guide in a Winchester 94, since I bought my first over 50 years ago.
If I was going to hang it, I'd leave it alone.
If I was going to use it, I'd buy a new guide & screw to keep in reserve.

The arrow rest, believe it or not, was a feather (turkey ?) glued to the riser.
It was pretty accurate, shooting across my dooryard (30yds).
Unfortunately, I had to give up bow hunting (well before crossbows were allowed here) due to having an operation that left my delts unable to draw a bow.
