Williams also make a specific FP sight for grooved dovetail receivers. These are the click adjustable models. Check their site because I believe there are two different heights available. They are always helpful with telephoned questions too.

I was aware of the talked-about Ruger cylinder problems when I bought my Vaquero. The first thing I did after bringing it home was to slug the cylinder, learning that the mouths were .430. 3leg, I haven't fired it yet and the only 44-40 ammo I have is loaded for a rifle and is a bit tight in the cylinder of this revolver. I worked in a pharmacy for 50¢ an hour when I was 16, but come payday the only deduction I had was for Social Security. I worked until I was 63 so I paid in for 47 years. Good thing all those years weren't spent in the pharmacy because the pay sure sucked.

44 Magnum. Once I learned just what my Super Blackhawk was capable of and I learned to control the recoil I felt like I had conquered it. I truly believe the 44 is one of the most accurate straight wall cartridges, if not the most accurate.
