I would think that if you tried the hydrogen trick, you would lose any efficiency from the hydrogen/oxygen fuel, by the energy needed to produce the gases, from water. You will put a greater load on your alternator, and the energy has to come from somewhere, so you would use more gasoline.

Its not 700grains= 1 oz. Its 437 gr per oz. You would get 23 bullets per pound, or around $0.27 each. Guess you could carry a MSDS sheet showing what is in the boolit.

Your bullets in the ranger are probalby .002 over groove dia. , which is good. Your .358 bullets are probably near groove dia. and it would be better if you can find some .360" to try. That might get rid of the flakes of leading.
