I have the Eyepal and it worked well enough except that it was not reliable in sticking to my glasses when I shot outdoors in the winter.
I've since had cataract surgery and no longer use the Eyepal.

Oh My!
I got it to the range and it no longer puts a dent in the primer....
Looks like maybe a broken firing pin. I have to find the take down instructions and most likely, a source for a new firing pin.
Anybody know who carries parts for the Rossi 1892?

Rossi 1892 malfunction
I bought an older ( pre bolt safety Rossi 357/38spl model 1892 carbine a few weeks ago. It had fired about 50 rounds with no problems. Thanks Pitchy, for bringing back memories of simpler times. I recall making a crystal radio from a kit, more than 60 years ago. Mine used a piece of Galena crystal for the detector. I remember that it was real touchy to find the "sweet spot" on the crystal, and what a thrill it was to hear...

I've been looking for a Rossi stainless .357 for a couple of years.
I finally bought an Uberti '73 in .357.
I am quite pleased with the Uberti, even though it was about twice what I wanted to spend and is an oct bbl rifle instaed of a round barreled carbine.

Lyman offers a gas check seater doo-dad for their lube-sizer.
It is less than ten bucks.
Every place was out of stock when I wanted one so I made my own.
The thing is simple and you could probably make one from a scrap of wood or plastic that would last for a long time.

I think that Bair was bought out by Pacific.

Watch your velocity.
I think that the plated bullets are limited to about 1200 fps.
You already know about no crimp.
Are the noses flat enough for feeding through a tubular rifle magazine or are you loading them just for revolvers?
