That's a cool find, I'm glad the police knew what is was and saved it from destruction.
I remember back in the 60s in England, someone handed in a Colt Paterson to be scrapped but it too was recognised as a valuable antique.

I really enjoy my Uberti 66 in 22lr. Sweet little rifles, and very accurate to boot. :D You might want to order a spare extractor to have on hand. Very prone to breaking. Quite right, I did have two CZs, a .22LR & a Hornet but GK Jr has them now but heck I'm a Levergunner and getting too old to pull off fancy long range shots and the Uberti 73 in .22LR was plenty accurate for me.. :wink:
