Fantastic riffle. Congrats looking forward to your hunt reports.

cal has been in one several of my double rifle purchases, but mostly on my paradox guns or ball and shot guns. He is a wealth of information and his books are must haves for those who venture into the world of double rifles.

Productive Merry Christmas eve

I cast up some bullets for my sharps 1863 percussion military rifle today. They are .452, 475 grain ring tail bullets, lubed them with SPG and got them in the block for adding Hahn tubes, ffg and nitrus paper to seal them off. Looking forward to some range time at 200 yards on Monday. I have a date ...

Saw an interesting Winchester model 92 this weekend

It was a takedown in 44-40, stamped WCCO in 2 places, one of which had 686 after it. On right side of receiver was, in small letters HOP. From what I understand, the WCCO is the Winchester costume company, stage prop management for early movies. The barrel was a bit rough inside, I'm guessing due to...

It is loaded and is ready as a house gun, as well as it has a place in my jeep for travel. I have ammo in the jeep to feed it. I have shot it more this...
