Not necessarily advocating this, but it seemed like I read in one of Jack O'Connors books that they used to fire large caliber rifles right next to the horses ear, and once they were deaf you could shoot off of them. I keep wishing they would have one of those around here......there has got to be a way to make money off these things..........I could maybe go to the junkyard and find a hundred or so replicas, go sell them for $10 dollars a piece and go and buy a couple of nice levers. :lol:
