My sling setup for what it's worth.
Just a plain jane sling.
a set of det. sling swivels.
full ring on the mag. tub.
Works great with no problems.

Yes I do think for turkey I would step it up a notch to the 357.
That's what I think is nice with the versitility of the 38/357.
