This gun DOES NOT have the cylinder pin safety where you can push it farther in and it will stop the hammer from striking the primer.

I've never used Auto Comp. It does sound like a light load not reaching proper pressures. I know when I shoot any of the Winchester white box stuff as practice ammo my hands are green afterward.

Well, as a way to go out it seems very ... definitive. There's no rushing you to the ER for surgery after that. You wouldn't have to worry about staunching the bleeding since most of the blood would be a vaporous state in the area around the body.

I've also found that someone called Standard Manufacturing will take a custom order for a bird's head SAA with a 3-3/4" barrel and the Bisley hammer. I think it's pricey though. I might inquire on Monday just to see. It's funny ... 20 years ago about the only bird's head I'd seen was an old Rug...

Nice article. I'm using 400 grain A-frames in my 450 Alaskan over a big pan of 3031. Unless I'm plinking, then I'm using the 350 grain HotCore over even more 3031.
