Did Norma leave the American market or is the absence of all of their powders just a part of the current crunch in reloading components? The various AR-10 platforms have poor parts interchangeability ... especially in the magazine catch area. I would stick with the platforms that conform to the SR-25 mag style. I don't know why Armalite did the thing with the M1A mags. It seems like there were plenty of original AR-10 waffle mags flo...

I did the transfer on the Taylor's Cattleman (Uberti) 3.5" Bird's Head in 45LC yesterday. I've not done a store transfer in a while and it tested my patience. The twenty-something young lady that did it took about an hour due to the chatting and texting she was doing during the transaction. She...

Well ... being new to the SAA scene, I've been looking around at what's what on the various "for sale" sites. While I appreciate a tastefully done engraving job, I'm going to have to admit to being new to this particular style. Engraved SAA on the Guns International site. Seems like this m...

Glad I caught this before it rolled off of the page. Just ordered my first SAA in .45 and now I'm getting a set of pin gauges in .451- to .455- to measure the chamber throats. The flatside is lighter and balances a little farther forward than the later model because of the lighter receiver. That's interesting.
