Related to your post, the best sabots in my TC Omega are the "Harvester Crushed Rib" sabots, the tiny ribs allow easy loading and they're super accurate.

I injured myself while cocking my Ten Point crossbow... Ouch!!! But I admit I'd opened this expecting to hear about a broadhead laceration... I handled one (4" target model) very recently and was very impressed with the fit, finish and feel; but I've never had a chance to shoot one. Priced at $200 to $250 more than a similar stainless S&W (both used), I don't think I'd pay the premium.

There is another option where the long distance lens is in one eye and the close in lens is in the other eye. I know someone who did this and he says it works fine and he doesn't need glasses. I think insurance wouldn't pay for that and he paid up for it out of pocket. Something to think about tho....

I would want one that has the ability to LOCK ON to me or the dog when bird hunting. I think it would be an awesome thing to watch... A guy who used to work for me had one he used for skiing and snowboarding; if I recall, he could set the altitude & position at which it hovered over/behind him....
