I used a dollar coin to make a front sight for my 1895 after I put a Providence sight on the rear.
Couldn't find a tall enough one to buy, and making one only cost me a dollar.
I think XS makes a front sight for th 1895, but I couldn't find one at the time

By 4th grade, I had read all his Tarzan, Martian Chronicles, and Moon men books, as well as Pelludar.

Great stuff for a kid.

Moon clips are for swing-out or top-break revolvers.

On a SA, you'd have to pull the center pin each time and lose any speed advantage.

Both are coil.

The Browning 71 and 1886 use coil springs but I'm not sure they can be used. Haven't tried it.

I got an email from Western Powders yesterday.
There is a recall on 3 of their Accurate Arms powders made before 2016.
Luckily I only had 2 pounds of the affected powders.
When I inspected them, they did have signs of degradation.
