I believe the current ones don t.I have an early Uberti carbine that has the door in the butt and also has the front sight mounted on the barrel.The later models have the fron t sight mounted on the barrel band and no trapdoor in butt.I believe they changed it as a cost cutting measure.

Little guy gave me a good chase,spooked him a few times but because of the thick brush he kept getting away.I out flanked him and cut him off on one of his escapes.Was using winchester brand cheap bulk stuff but still accurate.

My Uberti 73 carbine in 22lr has finally made meat.Out for a little bunny hunt and this was the result. Im in love with this little carbine and wish Uberti had of made more of them.

Mine is bang on using 180gr bullets.Have used several brands of 180s and they all print to the same point of impact and group close to the same as well.

Here in Canada I picked up a never fired 94/22 Cherokee Comm.Action is smooth as silk, though accuracy wise my
Uberti 73 in 22lr has the edge over the 94

I paid $900 for the HK and it came with the HK claw scope mount.The gun looks like it might of been fired only a few times no marks on it at all.

Loads through a sliding port in the tube like other rimfires,holds about 15 rounds.Also it has the trapdoor door in the butt stock.

Forgot to mention went to a gun show before I went to the range.Saw a nice Marlin 81 and a couple of Win 76s and a NEW HK 770 IN 308 went and followed me home.Not that I really need it but the price was to good to pass up.

The Browning 42s can be a bit pricy as well, especially a NIB Hi grade version such as I m buying.A good used standard grade should run around $600 - $1000 depending on condition.
