I started this post a bit ago, then my Brother had a stroke. Now he has past away.
Back to the 30-30. After fooling with, it I found the loading gate was causing the problem. If I pull down the gate a tic with my finger I can close the action.
A possible fix with not going to a smith?

Well I took off the scope mount and saw that is a Remington 03-A3. Malamute you were right, I added a number to the serial that I put down. It is 407xxxx, 1943 I believe. Thanks for all the help.

With comments from here I tied the bait (peanut butter and raison to the trap. I also drill a hole into the mouse trap and tie her down. Works like a charm. Thanks for the idea guy and gals. But the little mouse is now in heaven with all the cheese he can eat.

With out the time change, my dog gets up between 0530 and 0600. So the time change came, he still gets up at ~ 0600 (now 0500).
He eats a 1600 hrs. Now he wants to eat at 1500 hrs.

Thanks for all the ideas. Latter this month, I am going to have my left rotor cuff repaired. So my grandson and I will take apart the 30-30, clean her up and stain her. Beats looking at the boob tube, plus you can never get back the time with each other.

My father-in-law passed away Sunday, he was 89. Now he will go to his reward and be with the Lord and his wife of 67 years.
My father passed away in 1969, he was wounded in Metz France. My father-in-law was wounded during the Battle of the Bulge.

Not in a lever that I can find (wish it were). In Ohio, we can use the Max to hunt deer. I love the .357, my fav next to the 45-70. That said, the 45-70 is a tad overkill for deer (didn't say it will not be used). So, I sent my H&R .357 to a Mr. White to shoot the Max. Wow! I got less MOA at 100...

I know that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but... Looking through G&A and saw the Taurus Curve in.380. I you like it fine but, to me it looks like a staple gun (work box gun)? But goodness, at 15' 4 to 5 inch group, maybe a staple gun may work just as well.

Don't know about LA cars. I was a Park District Range in the late 70's and early 80's (became a fireman in 82, you grow). The director would not allow cages in the cars. Stated that it was unpark like. We tried to inform him that we did not arrest park like persons. It changed after he retired. Joe
