Re: Baseball fans here?
I'd love to see a vintage baseball game sometime.
The last two MLB games I saw in person were in August of 1969, Giants against the Cubs, at Candlestick Park. Willie Mays hit home run 597 in the first game and 598 in the second. Even then, the hokey stadium organ was annoying.

It's funny, but it's not so much that I love baseball as it is loving the idea of loving baseball. I usually don't pay much attention until the Series starts, but the world seems a better place when spring training is underway. The reproduction of this very interesting British .442 revolver from the 1850s by Arsa in Spain is slowly proceeding. Initial pricing of 1,000 € puts it out of my league, but I sure would love to see and handle one. More in this thread over at Britishmilitaria ... https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/bri...

I think the SAAMI pressure standard for .357 is 45,000. SAAMI for the 5.56 NATO is 58,000, but of course the aluminum AR receiver is built around a far different locking design. I'll be curious how the Huckleberries in aluminum hold up.

Guessing there were good hauls of rattlesnakes for the roundup, thanks to those temps in the 80s last week.
