I have both. My Marlins are much more accurate than my Rossies. But the Rossi 92 is one darned fun gun. Both of mine in .44 wil shoot Mags and Spls flawlessly. That wasn't true for the 357s. Just an observation. At the Penn. State Sil. match. 90% of the small bore (.22) rifles were Marlins. Not to say the Win( of which I'm a big fan) were inferior in any way but, the Guys that were shooting Marlins got the awards.

Couple more thoughts... I was expecting to see a lot of guys showing off thier vintage Winchesters. Saw a couple but most of the Guys were shooting Marlins. Mainly Cowboy models and a lot of 357s. The Small bore rifle shoot was almost all Marlins with a couple 9422s one or two Henrys and one Win Mod...

Had a great time at the Penn. State Silhouete Match. My first time shooting a sil. match. Diidn't do great but at least I wasn't DFL! Met up w/ John K. aka w30wcf. Super nice guy! I've used a small brass brush, sort of like a tooth brush to remove a little light rust on mil. surplus rifles. Worked well and didn't seem to hurt the finish any. haven't tried it on anything else though.

I had to have my older Interarms Rossi 92 worked over by Steve Young ( Stevezgunz) to get it t feed and fire 357s. Now it's one of my favorite rifles! Feeds my 125 gr hornady XTPs fawlessly!

The new sights are a Marbles rear short semi-buckhorn and Steve's new front sight/barrel band w/ brass bead. worth every cent of the 89.95!

Thinking this is going to become one of my favorite rifles :D

Traded an Enfield No4 that I had $55 in and 100 bucks for this model 92/ 32-20. Already have three 32-20s but I couldn't pass it up. Rifle is all there with a second set of stocks on their way. Rossi arrived Wed afternoon and finally got to the range today. Sooo worth the wait! He did an action job and installed new front and rear sights. All I can say is "WOW"!! It was always a good shooter w/ 38s but wouldn't feed or even load more than three 357s. Now it feeds my Horn 125 XTPs...

My Grandfather had one for a long time. I believe it was a 35rem. I always thought it was an interesting old gun. I passed up a mint one at a show several years ago with a Lyman Alaskan scope in a side mount. Didn't have quite enough $$ that day. Still wish I could have brought that one home.

I had a 94 in 32-40 several years ago. Sold it when the prices really jumped up and was building my last house. Wish I hadn't, was a super accurate rifle. Very mild recoil.

Need to order a new mag tube plug screw for my 94S. What's the proper name for the piece dovetailed into the barrel that the scew threads into? That particular piece isn't on any of the exploded views I can find.
