Now I love my larger smooth bores but sometimes a wee 410 despite making no sense makes plenty sense! The pigeon are hitting the barley now but not in devastating numbers here so as Jess likes boiled pigeon I got under a few. A few good wing shots and a few ambushed from under their favourite trees ...

Yes bill a roll turn over bit for a drill.
The A2400 loads are just as potent as the h110 but more frugal by 2.5 gns.

Congratulations Nath, I have often been tempted by those sleek little Mossberg's :mrgreen: I never had a problem with any of the Mossberg's I've had over the years. They are cool John. I had a 12g when I was 18 and didn't appreciate it 🤦. I'm quit took with the mechanism actually. It's quite simple.

Happy as a pig in .....poop! Got me a Mossberg 410. Barely a mark on it and still thick in packing grease it's as new! Only had it a few days and it's filled a cart full of varmints. Boy this rifle is good. Using just a pinch of Herco under a 150gn unwanted spire point bullet it sure shoots. I shot at a 100yd plus rabbit just going over it. I aim again, rabbit only move a few hops, the fuzzy looking front sight a little lower and sneak just under him. Later I happened on a crow ...

I just loaded up three Speer 130gn bullets on 34gn of n135 and got this at 100 good steps rested off a tripod!
