400 yard cross canyon shots are not sporting. Being from the flat lands and hunting on your on land a 400 yd shot is only for the master shooter...... I have seen and heard of so called sportsman making shots of this didstance, but when walked off, the distance is always some what shorter, just wish...

I've always had the feeling that the .348 mod 71 was about the best allaround brush gun, even if it is a few thou short of .350... its an old cal almost forgoten, but only a lota money would get mine.....

I have a bore snake for each cal and shotgun bore, and before I use any wepon I pull the snake thru. and do so after each session of shooting.. realy helps on shotguns... I use em dry, but after a few uses they pick up a small amount of lube, then in the wifes washing mochine they go...

restamp it above or below the hole..

then don't ask, n dont tell....

The ser # must be on the frame, not on the lower tang...

you are not changing the number from the original, so, dont ask n dont tell anyone... if some one saks just act dumm...

They are great, had both 22lr and 22mag, had site proble,s with the mag , got rid of it kept the lr, shoot it more than the winnie 62's, just dont want to put any wear on the winnies, Try to get the older ones without the Ralph Nader safty thing on top...
