I witnessed a buddy shoot a Timber rattler that was snuggled up next to our camp one year with the CCI 38 special shot loads - that guy went limp pretty quick. IMO those shells work real when for thost vermin....

I going to get a S&W 642 38 specials for concealed carry, this would share the job with the Kel-Tec .380 I already own - after that one - A 1894 in 32 Special. I do not know what it is about 32 specials, but I always wanted one - hopefully it can be in a SRC configuration...

My wife and I honeymooned at a Club Med in Antigua - that was 10 years ago this upcoming July. The island was great, people were freindly, and everything was in English. The exact resort we stayed at, I beleive was leveled in hurricane later on that same year, but I am sure it was re-built by someone.

I would have to say for me it would be my Winchester 1892 in 32-20. Although my Marlin 45-70 has taken more meat than the 32-20, But my Winchester 9422 get the most range time....

My Guide Gun and my Winchester 88 in .308 are 2 of my most accurate leverguns. The Guide Gun can make one BIG cloverleaf at 50 yds. The 88 can hold about an 1" at 100 yds.

I have a Leupold fixed 2.5 in Weaver rings and have no issues - I can take them off and put them back on time and time again without missing a beat.

Plain Weavers are removable and the Leaupld scope is just the ticket on the Guide Gun.

32-20 WCF and 45-70 - #1 and #2 - but really any cartridge that is 100+ years old. The 45 Colt is another one of my favorites - along with the 30-30 and 30-06

The 32 WCF got me "in to" older Winchester lever actions and is possibly my favorite.

At our deer camp - we sleep on cots in basically an open loft type upstairs - we have had up to 30 people in the area - there have been times when I had to wear earplugs to fall asleep. Went hunt as a gang - so waking up is not an issue either...
