Re: OT - Help me choose my EBP
I've got a Glock. Have held an XD. I like the XD over the Glock for the one safety feature the Glock doesn't have and that's the grip safety. Running around my place with the Glock, I've had to place it in my back pocket, etc.. for a short walk to the tractor or whatever and it makes me darn nervou...

Re: FEAR PURCHASING....
...the number one thing on there minds like I said would be there pocket = FOOD ON THE TABLE. Personally, I don't want to be a single-issue voter, but when the issue is as important as fundamental rights recognized by (what's SUPPOSED to be) the limiting document(s) of the government, I will be as ...

Re: OT 25-06 Remington
My first real rifle I ever bought (could afford) was a Ruger MK II in 25-06. This was about 20 years ago. Very accurate rifle when I do my part. Back in the mid 90's I would shoot at turkey shoots in the hunting rifle competition, 3-shot group, 6x max scope. I beat a number of guys with $1,000 plus ...

I appreciate that. Please be sure that my comment regarding my opinion was somewhat done with tongue-in-cheek.rjohns94 wrote:your opinion matters, as well as any others. all are welcome here so long as a few simple rules are followed. I hope you don't feel unwelcome due to your realatively low post count

Re: POLL - Should Posters in Classifieds Have Min # of Posts?
Hello Guys, I just read through the responses here and feel compelled to respond after seeing where Hobie wanted to know what we really thought. I can understand the desire to try and weed out problems by requiring a minimum # of posts. If you were to do that I would be one that couldn't sell here b...

Fun at the Range alongside Scoped Bolt Rifles
I made a trip to the range this weekend. Rifle season for deer and elk open this weekend so the range was full of people. Many guys and gals there sighting in their rifles. The standard practice seemed to be to sight your rifle in, fine tune it on paper and then go to a longer distance to check it o...

Re: OT *#@($*%&$&% CAR BUYER'S
You reap what you sow. I pay cash for my vehicles and I would rather have a root canal than buy a car. I know what I want to pay before I walk on the lot. I hate the games. The last vehicle I bought I told the salesman (I had pen in hand) that it was between him and another dealer. Showed him the #...

Wife gets everything obviously. There are a few guns I would like the kids to get/keep. A couple that I would like my brother to have or perhaps give him an option on some of the remaining. After that I told my wife of a friend that will help her dispose of those that are left. If I know my wife, sh...

I liked your comment about the best salesmen Tom. I am a bad salesman's nightmare and a good salesman's dream. I generally know exactly what I need, what I want and almost never shop for a vehicle when I need one. I pay cash outright unless its a business vehicle that I may finance only if the finan...

That J Miller is a great guy
Wanted to give some kudos to a member here.
J Miller, aka Joe, helped me out with some much needed knowledge over the holidays in diagnosing a levergun problem and the ultimate fix needed. He did this on a holiday and I greatly appreciate.
+100 to J Miller
