If i can offer a idea.. Try to CSI it.. Use a plain lead pencil and lightly rub it over the writing and then gently erase it.. See if any lead sticks into the depressions where it was stamped...

My money would be on losening that set screw a little bit (dont take much) and it will turn more freely... Dont back it out but i think the shank on that particular screw is just a little too long...

Im with J Miller... Always retumble your brass for a while after lubing and sizing... It removes the remaining lube and the powder wont stick to the case mouth and there wont be any contaminating lube left near the primers on inside that could dampen the powder.. Takes a bit longer but worth the ins...

Yeah sucked about Amo... Brook has opened the shop back up.. My wifes Gma was Dolly Underwood... My wife was a Pyles... I knew Amo real well... Spent many a night up at his house on Browns mountain.. He was a really cool guy if you didnt make him mad :D

Provided you make and take only headshots it is lethal... My personal choice is a .223 Handi rifle... Little more oomph and a little better trajectory... If it were me and being as it is night i think i would opt for the .243 or see if i can borrow a 22 Hornet/.223 from someone...

I had it before... I really absolutely love a lever gun... If they could come out with 1 for a .223 and a 30-06 id own nothing but... Nothing like that click tink clack sound when working the action... I could drift off to sleep with that sound playing on a loop...

Ahhhh... I havent ever been much on a Winchester... Havent owned any ever but worked in a sport goods dept for a local dept store and just never could bring myself to mess with 1 with the top eject.. Now i know more about guns and i could find myself using 1 to try out :D

Hey yall.. Just got this link from a guy on Handloads.com... I am getting a new Marlin in 35 Rem in a few days (owned 1 before and kicked myself everyday for selling it)... Anyhoo just introducin myself... Hope to learn alot from the knowledge here
