Re: The ‘tactical’ levergun is not going to go away…
Stainless and Laminate on a levergun is about as far as I can go. I just can't stand that plastic stuff. I hate the looks, and I hate the feel of them. Which reminds me, I went into a couple of gunshops the other day, and One was a fairly large gun shop. fully 80 precent of the bolt action rifle ha...

Re: Does anyone on here sleep in bed with a pistol strapped on?
Way too uncomfortable to wear a handgun while sleeping. I change from one side to the other at night, and can't imagine that working. I keep my .45 under the pillow where it wont interfere with good sleep. Ditto. With my back, I toss and turn constantly and rarely ever get a decent night sleep. A g...

. What I hate is when I have a patient who has tried everything, but the oxycodone and the oxycodone worked fine and they’re not addicts or abusers, but the Retail chain Pharmacy will refuse to fill the prescription, or force the patient to take a low ineffective dose. They do that to keep the stor...

When you see a whitetail deer with a large spike on one or both sides it is generally considered an inferior deer and we try to take them out of the gene pool. I actually like a “fixed” rear sight like a Skinner ladder sight and do my adjustment on the front sight. Even on my Ruger/Marlin Shootists 40th anniversary gun, the Skinner rear is bottomed out and I tried different front sights to get the right combination. But I don’t baby my rifles and I like t...

nmcatman, I have Skinner sights on all my Marlin levers and I'm happy with them. I'm sure you can correct your sighting issues with just a new front sight.
