Bond just came out with their 6" barreled "Texan". I kind of like it. Though I'd have little use for it here in Hawai'i I think I'd make a dandy snake charmer or a canoe gun loaded with bird shot. A couple rounds of 45 Colt in the chamber and you're loaded for boar. I don't think I'd ...

I don't mind aluminum in a firearm if it's done right. My 1976 vintage Ruger 10/22 still shoots like a charm, absolutely no problems from the aluminum receiver and trigger group. Hawai'i uses petroleum based fuels to generate electricity, and has the most expensive electric costs in the country. My regular no AC, no heating normal electric bill is around $230.00 a month. It was always my understanding that the Big Horn Armory model 1889 was called the 1889 because it's action size was proportionately right in between the Browning designed model 1886 and model 1892 Winchesters so a happy medium between the two. I really like the 1889 action itself but prefer a straig...

Great shootin' Nate. Wish they'd let us hunt birds here with a rimfire (legally) allot less meat damage than a scatter-gun, and in my opinion just as challenging. If I can ever afford another gun, and it be a 22 WMR I think I'd settle with a Henry Goldenboy. http://www.justgunsstore.com/images/libra...
