Multi-ball loads in 357 or other calibres
I saw a few threads on these over the years and was thinking of trying some out. Are these a myth, bad idea, or easy enough to do? I was thinking 3x .360 000buck might work just from a diameter and payload perspective. This would just be for fooling about, not trying to invent the best small game lo...

Yes background checks is how it all starts. The sad thing as you said is when gunowners support gun checks but wouldn't expect them for buying knives, trucks, fast cars, liquor, boats or another 100 ways to cause deaths ...guns being more 'evil'..

I'm not sure what they were showing on that video. Google any cat vs snake video, every one has kitty batting snakes about the head, snake retaliating with strikes, cat bouncing back etc. No doubt a few cats get killed fooling about like this but the point is they can score easily on snakes and I do...

I leave snakes be in the outdoors, around the house is different. They get whatever is handy, usually a shovel, sometimes a 410 with birdshot. No way snakes can intercept bullets, they aren't faster than mongooses, I don't think their even faster than cats, neither of them can bite incoming bullets....

I have one of the longer barrel versions with a lyman tang sight on it and think it is just great. They generally bring around four here. Parts gun? Interesting. Talk me in or out of it folks. Its good condition 22LR, the blued carbine version with 16.5" barrel. Not sure of the vintage but looks barely used, the fella will also throw in another broken one for use as parts. We haven't discussed price yet but I know he wants them both gone. I only keep a ...

Mick, don't overlook the Armi Sport Spencer replica in .56-50. I had one and it was a lot of fun to shoot. I used a modified Lee 515-450 mould to drop a bullet closer to 350 grains, and Starline makes excellent 56-50 brass. Use off-the-shelf .50-70 dies to load. A friend in Montana has taken a coup...

I recall reading about the the 70-150 Winchester but it seems it may never have been made. Also there are the shotgun gauge levers. I wondered if there were any actual rifled calibres over 50cal made, including modern custom projects?

I had a similar product in the early 90's, Daewoo USAS-12 with the 20 shot drum.Mine was S/A only but the automatic was slow rate of fire which you could almost match with a quick trigger finger. Extreme ammo wasters, once you start pulling the trigger its too much fun to stop. https://www.youtube.c...

Mine feeds some factory 38sp okay, What I learned from other sources is it can be hit and miss , some 92's hang up depending on the loaded length of the 38sp. So you find what 38 ammo or length your gun likes and just use that. Also 38 special can ring the chamber as its a shorter case. I don't shoo...

A lot of religions describe giant folk and the great flood too. I think Sumerians got it all down first, 1000 years before Hebrews developed writing. They get told to build an ark to survive by their gods too, and a later version even has the dove finding land. Has to be something in the stories.

22WMR is a pretty big jump in performance I found. The bullets are actually jacketed, not plated lead, you can actually kill smaller medium game with boiler room shots, though its not preferable, more of a survival tactic. We shot hogs over baits with them back in the day, only as it was mandated by...

This is not an entirely serious post, I let a friend of mine handle my rossi 92 with 24" octagonal barrel. He remarked he thought lever actions were meant to be light, you could use this as a club. I said levers are sometimes light but this is copying an older barrel design. Then I thought he i...
