Re: Got a new security system tonight

Dogs are always "smarter" when they grow up with another dog. My Dobermans grew up with a Whippet (a mini-doberman with an attitude) that could jump/bounce up to eye-level, and that pup never had a chance of being injured (by anyone or anything) with the big girls around. Today I have thre...

WDWLC? (What does Walt Longmire carry?) A 20" gun is plenty for me, and the 16" Trapper guns are even more handy. Anything I'm likely to shoot will not know the difference in velocity. I usually leave my heaviest leverguns behind. The first shot is the only shot that matters. Accuracy is ...

Re: Speaking of new Rugers

First-shot accuracy is all that has ever mattered to me. I've had a few 10mm bottom-feeders since the Delta came out, but the best-of-breed was the EAA Witness Elite - an all-stainless CZ design that would put the first XTP 200gr into a coffee cup at 50 measured yards from a decent rest.
