I shoot NRA Highpower and CMP with my A2. Push out 2 pins and swap uppers and it gets used for varmint hunting. Want to just go out and plink? Grab the M4 carbine adjust the stock down to fit the wife or kids. Zero recoil and cheap to shoot. I would argue they are the "modern day" version ...

Just used the last of my free large pistol primers loading up some 45 ACP. The old boy that gave them to me paid 89 cents a 100 back in 1982.

Looks like it might not be a problem. Acording to the Hornady calculations if I match the veocity between the 125 grain 38 specials and the 158 grain 357 mags they will have a POI out to 200 yards virtually identical and I dont ever see shooting more that 100 yards with this setup. I think AJMD429 might have the "best" set up. I have the Dillion 550 and love it for high volume loading. The draw back is it is expensive to buy a tool head and caliber conversion. Rifle cartriges are a two stage process if you really want to do it right. I don't think it is the most fun ...

I'm right handed so I can't help with what gun to get them. My only thought is that 20 gauge shells will be so much cheaper that the gun will be used. Not much point in getting them a really nice gun they might not be able to afford to shoot.
