I agree with the above comments...
One other tip -- if you can do so, access the area from 180 degrees opposite from where 90% of all the other hunters will be coming in. That doesn't guarantee they will move a deer to you, but it sure does help the odds!

I forgot to add... These aren't the easiest guns to take apart -- or more importantly -- to get back together right... A concern is if you punch out the pins too much, they won't be as snug any more. Plus, don't punch them out the wrong way, or try to put them in backwards. You may know already, but...

Your mileage may vary... But I've had the best results re-treating those cloths with Birchwood-Casey "Sheath" spray, now called "Barricade" I believe. It's a great rust-preventive and once the blue is wiped down with it, even finger prints don't show up. Like another poster menti...

Thanks for the comments jd45. The cylinder throats were 20 to 30 thous' smaller than the 0.358" bullets . The tight throats sized the bullets down and I wasn't getting a good seal in the barrel -- causing major leading! -- and the accuracy wasn't worth writing about either. Now, with the throat...
