I haven't moved mine in a long time but when did I turned a piece of carpet over and worked it underneath the safe. With one pulling and one pushing it worked fine...this was on a concrete and linolium floor and empty of course.

Hi! I'm new to the forum here but I sure hope someone can help. I have a Win. Model 88 that has the infamous cracked stock. Overall the stock is in bad shape. I plan to repair the crack and maybe refinish the stock as well. I have everything off the stock except the "pistol grip cap insert"...
