I have one, rasty rasty bore and I get patterns instead of groups. Dang it -- it should be a nifty cartridge. I formed cases from 35 Remington and they worked fine in my rifle as far as functioning through the action and being caught by the extractor. I'm envious of yours -- what a fine hand-me-down...

There are small dimensional differences such that if you screw the 30/30 full-length size die down until it bumps the shell holder you will create significant excess headspace in your 30 Rem. From your picture the bullet definitely has some kind of coating that I am not familiar with. There is a clear powdercoating but that isn't it. I'd bet that it works for you: the Cast Performance folks wouldn't have stayed in business this long if they produced bullets that didn't work for folks.

The regular Bee is a wonderful cartridge that has enough neck to be a nice cast bullet platform. And with Lil' Gun I'd bet you can get a regular Bee to beat the velocity those Mashburns get with their case full of 4198. The Mashburn is cute though!

I feel much more comfortable with a fill of 60% or thereabouts so a double charge will be obvious. Fortunately for us tin can shooters they still make fine tin cans. That's what I use when us boys go out for a bit of can shooting. Plastic with water in it is fun but it is also "one and done"; tin cans can be shot until they are practically steel confetti.
