Re: Need Wyoming Hunting Info

Thanks Les. Not sure if it includes Green River Lakes or is north of it. I'll PM when I find out. The woman I spoke to said ATV are allowed on lots of trails. I usually park and go in on foot a few miles. G&F were very helpful and gave me a number to the game warden to get some info on the area.

Need Wyoming Hunting Info

This is the first time in 25 years I didn't draw either a general elk tag or leftover cow tag. I've always hunted unit 85 or 84 and a couple nearby ones around Jackson. Everything is sold out but there are cow tags for unit 95. Have any of you ever hunted there. Its north of Pinedale and S/W of Dubo...

I've got bolt actions, levers and ARs but my favorite go to gun when traveling or home defense is my Winchester Trapper in .357. Great handling and a blast to shoot. A slicked up Rossi would also be great and easier to acquire. Good luck and welcome.

I read where the military, prior to semi-auto weapons, never really bought off on leveractions because of the difficulty of operating it while prone and keeping low. I don't know if that's true or not but that toggle switch would have/could have eliminated that issue, but it seems there were other c...

Sadly, I think leaving a firearm in plain sight, such as when in an exposed rack will likely attract way too much attention. My last truck had a compartment under the rear seat. I had a gun stolen out of my truck before so I'm a little wary about leaving it unsecured. I'm thinking an adjustable mount like in a police car with a hidden release switch. At least a thief would have to work at it. I've seen way to many smash and grabs.
