Re: Picture of my Leverguns

Yes it is!! :D I got 2 of his rifles, the other is a pre-64 model 70 in 30-06. Both of them are my most valuable possesions!! The 32-40 means a little more because he gave it to me 2 weeks before he passed on.

Picture of my Leverguns

Here's a picture of my Lever actions. Only 3 for now, but they all mean something to me. From left to right: Model 94 Winchester in 32-40 made in 1906. It was my grandads. Next is a Marlin 336 in 30-30, my very first center fire rifle. And last but not least my new Rossi 92 in 45 Long Colt. The stai...

Re: Meat in the freezer

I love shooting this Rossi 92. It's quickly becoming one of my favorites!! I just need to replace the factory sights and it will be my favorite! But for now, I will leave it as is, cause I'm hunting with it every chance I get!! :D

Meat in the freezer

Drew first blood with my Rossi 92 .45 Long Colt. Used Honady's Leverevolution. Shot at about 35 yards and she stopped in her tracks. Not the 8 pointer I was waiting for, but I've got some meat now! Tomorrow I will try again!!

Re: OT-Reloading Equipment Newbie

Thanks to everyone for the advice! Looks like I have more time to decide and learn since the money is now going to the Doctors and hospital for both of my kids surgery in a couple of weeks. Nothing serious, just having tonsils removed.

Thanks again!

OT-Reloading Equipment Newbie

This is a question for all the reloaders on here, I have finally saved enough money to buy a press and other reloading equip. I don't know much about reloading, hence not sure where to start. Do not know if I should get a standard press or progressive press or pretty much anything. Here's what I do ...

Re: Wilderness guns?

I carried a Ruger Vaquero .357 mag with a 4 5/8 barrel most of the time. Now I use the Ruger Vaquero .45 LC in a rig similar to the one John Wayne used. If I feel the need for a rifle, it's usually the Marlin 30-30, or now my Rossi 92 in .45 LC.

Factory 45 colt loads for deer hunting

Hi to all! This is my first post so I'll try to keep it short. I have just purchase a Rossi M92 with a 20" octogon barrel and chambered in 45 Colt. I want to use it for some deer hunting and just general shooting. I did a search and tried to find an answer before I posted this, but didn't find ...
