Maybe someone on here can figure this one out. I picked this Marlin 336 SC 35 Rem.up a few years ago and was always a little bit of a mystery to me. Pellet stove won't do you any good if the power goes out. Harry Harry is right.....they need power to run......they have a elec auger in them to feed the pellets into the buner and a elec fan to blow on the pellets to make them burn hot.......I had one when they first came out back in the late 80's...
