Here's my old 1917, 45ACP. I use Wilson full moons because they work and lots others don't. I put the grips and Tyler T on it. Load is 200 grain XTP.

No, the leather won't hurt it. I have one on each of my 73 SRCs, old one and a Miroku. No problems, just keep an eye on it and some Ballistol.

Was at a gun show last week-end and saw an 86 that kept calling my name. Half magazine, shotgun butt, pistol grip in 33Win. It had some extra holes in the action and had been refinished but very nicely. Bright shiny bore and a Redfield receiver sight. Gorgeous wood too. $995 No I didn't buy it but ...

Watched the videos this AM while there's a lull in the storms. They worked fine and you look plumb skinny in them. More storms coming today in maybe an hour. 6:13 now and severe warnings but no torpedoes yet. Watch area ends about 3 miles south. Lol. Like the weather service is that accurate.

I'm about 60 miles northeast of Tulsa so there are tornado warnings all around us. Atmospheric condition is about as bad as it can get. I've had 3 Dremel variable speed models that never worked to my satisfaction. I mostly use an air powered die grinder with Dremel tools. Couldn't get by without those thin cut-off discs.

I've had 3 Colt SAAs that Scratch engraved for me. Dummy me took the first one to a gun show and put a "I don't wanna sell it" price on it which someone was willing to pay. The other pair now belongs to a friend who just bugged me for about 3 years to let him have them. Maybe it's time for another.

I've been using Bolle Vigilantes for many years now. They have a snap in frame or the Rx lens which is behind the colored lens which is changeable and the glasses come with 4 or 5 different sets of lenses. Not cheap but very comfortable and great protection from lead splash. Really nice on the bike ...

My eldest son has a Pietta 357 that is a 7 1/2" with a nickel finish and he loves it. Very smooth and plenty accurate. We'll have to wait and see how it lasts but he's had it a couple of years and shoots it quite a bit.
