The only primers that backed out were the 3 that did not fire first time around. Not that it can't be a headspace prob. The Gun is barely a year old and looks very lightly used.
I think I will contact Win and send them some Pics.can't hurt.

Random misfire-is it the ammo or the gun.This is a bolt gun in 7.62X39. fairly new gun that I took in trade.Got a box of win ammo with it/123 gr full metal jacket.3 out of the box of 20 did not fire. The firing pin punched but no ignition. Tried them again and nada. after 3 or 4 attempts they finall...

@ AJMD. don't feel left out, I have a Marlin 357 that I have had for over 20 yrs and it hasn't given Me so much as a sneeze. Of course I haven't fired it yet so that might be part of the Prob. I have it's twin 44mag also-same Prob. I don't want to wear them out.

Just for a quick check, have U tried the Heating unit- I know it is summer but if it works properly it would indicate the ducks r probably OK.

A quick peek in the attic will tell U if U have crushed ducts or some disconnected. Has anyone been in the attic stringing phone or cable wires ? They could have crushed a duct or pulled one loose.
On a side note - I have fixed My Grand Daughters car twice over the Phone.

I found a 94 AE Trapper in 45 LC. It is a used gun (ie) been sold but looks new. price is $495. They were discontinued in 2006 so can't compare to new price. I guess what I'm asking "is there better deals" or is this as good as it gets. Blue Book lists 100% at $675

There is nothing close that has many Guns.However one of the shops We do have has a Gun I have My eye on, It is a Win 94 AE Trapper in 45 LC. The owner wasn't there and it wasn't priced so will have to go back.

I prefer 444 Marlin, partly because that is what I have,and partly because that is what I have. Had a 45-70 in a Ruger #1 years ago- never even fired it. Sure was HOT (whoops ) in Nor Cal today. :D
